Karenza May - Restaurant Manager
Karenza is everything a restaurant requires from a manager – friendly, calm, and with a superb eye for detail.
Karenza has an excellent pedigree in the restaurant world. Starting out as a waitress, she spent six years working for Rick Stein in various roles before a stint as head waitress at Rick Stein's Café.
After enjoying a meal at the restaurant she joined the Number 6 team as a waitress. Paul soon spotted her drive, speed and efficiency, promoting her to assistant manager within three months and giving her charge of the smooth running of the restaurant in October 2009.
With a good head for business, Karenza helps Paul in front of house and behind the scenes, playing a key role in both the recruitment and training of staff.
Paul says: “Karenza always seems to be at hand if you need her, it feels like she spends so much time in the restaurant she never goes home. Karenza goes from strength to strength and I could not wish for a more fantastic individual to manage the restaurant.”
